Gran, GranDa, and Nana came to stay with Graham while he was sick for 2 weeks with RSV. Gran and GranDa brought Graham an ornament to put on the big tree, so he had fun doing that with them. Gran counted with him and now Graham points to things and counts them, "da, da, da, da." That means 4! Nana made my grandmother's Santa cookies. Graham and I decorated them. Graham doesn't get sweets much, so this was a real treat! He loved every minute of it!
This is Richard decorating Santa cookies circa 1984 (?). I would say he is about Graham's age in this picture.
Nana and Graham decorated a little tree just for Graham. He loved it! He has been pointing out all the Christmas tress ever since. The tree was then moved to on top of the armoire, where Graham could still see it, but was out of arms reach.
